Tia received her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin, her Master's degree from Texas State University San Marcos, and her Ph.D. in Health, Leisure and
Human Performance from OSU in December 2008.

Megan McChesney Education background: Received a Bachelor's degree
in Nutritional Sciences/Dietetics, and a Bachelor's Degree in Physiology from the University of Arizona.
Currently a graduate student at OSU pursuing a Master's Degree in Nutritional Sciences while completing an internship to become a Registered Dietitian.
Certification Information (personal training and others): Currently is an ACE-certified Personal Trainer, and ACE-certified Group Exercise Instructor.
Also holds separate certifications in YogaFit, SPINNING, TurboKick, Gliding, and SilverSneakers.
Experience: I have been working in group fitness since 2004, teaching all modalities of classes. I certified as a Personal Trainer in 2007,
and have trained clients in Arizona ever since. This will be my first semester at the Colvin. I love training clients with weight-loss goals, or
those looking to make real life-long changes.

Gena Wollenberg Crenshaw
My name is Gena Wollenberg Crenshaw and I have my Masters Degree in Nutritional Sciences from Oklahoma State University.
I am a National Exercise Trainers Association certified personal trainer and a National Aerobics & Fitness Trainers Association certified
power cycle instructor. I currently supervise the personal training program at the Colvin Recreation Center as well as work full time
as a Clinical Dietitian at Ponca City Medical Center.
I believe that a healthy, fitness driven routine is an integral part of a successful and productive lifestyle.
It is a goal of mine that my personal training remains a reflection of these beliefs that I try to apply in my own life.
Each year I compete in multiple marathons (Boston Marathon finisher), triathlons, and cycling events.
I believe that a training program should be challenging yet fun and I genuinely enjoy working with my clients.
My personal training methods place great emphasis on the individual's goals and needs.
I am interested in working with anyone who truly wants to better themselves.

Kendall Choate
Education background: I will graduate from OSU next May with two athletic training degrees,
one in the clinical option and the other in the pre-professional option.
I plan on pursuing a doctoral degree in physical therapy, with an emphasis
on sports therapy, upon graduation. This year, I will be working directly
with the Oklahoma State Men's Basketball team.
Certification Information: National Strength & Conditioning Association, Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist,
Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure: Apprentice Athletic Trainer, Professional Rescuer Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification,
Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Certification, First-Aid American Red Cross Certification
Experience: In May 2009, I was hired by the Colvin Recreation Staff to serve as a
Personal Trainer for the FIT FIRST: Personal Training and Buddy Training programs.
I love teaching FIT FIRST classes because it gives me the amazing opportunity
to use my knowledge of exercise, nutrition, and program design to work with
and alongside individuals who are motivated to change their lives, become
more active, and learn how to live a safe & healthy lifestyle.

Rebekah Petersen Education background: Received B.S. degree in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Fitness &
Wellness Management from Brigham Young University in 2007.
Certification Information: ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine) certified fitness instructor and First Aid/CPR certified.
Experience: Health Screener at the Huntsman 2005_World Senior Games in St. George, UT; personal trainer at Elevate Fitness in Orem, UT 2007;
and a personal trainer at the Colvin Recreation Center since August 2007. Will work with anyone who wants to get fit!!

Jessica Jarrell
I am a senior Nutrition and Exercise Science major with a minor in Health and Human Performance.
I have a 3.9 GPA. I have been a certified personal trainer for 2 years. I am a 4 year starter for the OSU women's
Soccer team. I helped lead the team to our first ever Big 12 Championship last year.
I would say my training style is tough to a point. I will push my clients.
There are a lot of athletic training techniques and ideas incorporated in my sessions.
It will be hard but worth it.
